Pre-Order Injustice Gods Among Us at Walmart and take a trip down Arkham Lane

Just when Wal-Mart couldn't hear enough of "Shut up and take my money" Gears of War pre order bonus was more than players can handle and they've struck gold again. Placing your pre-order with Walmart lands you guys the Batman: Arkham City Skin Pack including the attire worn by Batman, Catwoman and the Joker in Injustice to fight with (Too bad the Joker skin won't come with Mark Hamill's Joker voice.. or would it?)

A great way for Walmart to fight Amazon and Gamestop pre order incentives and doing it well mind you, my only concern is why Harley Quinn was left out of the skin pack her Arkham City outfit would have been PERFECT to add?

Here's hoping for Arkham City Harley Quinn!

Can the Gears of War writer handle Batman?

Karen Traviss is no slouch to the video game fiction world having taken on the stories for Gears of War 3, Halo and Halo 4 but also the comics for Gears of War that DC made. Now she's going back to DC and giving Batman: Arkham City Unhinged a run for it's money and writing the comic and let me say she is not a stranger to writing excellent game fiction. Putting her in the world of Batman even though she has no prior knowledge of Batman but just remember... neither did Tim Burton and look what he gave us, coming into this DC Weekly Digital Comics and she's going to do a great with this dark story that focuses on the villains of Arkham City. She took the job because she likes to be pushed out of her comfort zone and she takes superheroes and that genre to all new heights and i cant wait to see how real and complex she makes her characters, environments catch her eye as characters not mentioned in the game might make appearances we'll just have to wait and see how it goes but I'm excited don't forget to pick up.. or in this case download them from Comixology and your local comic book store.

Mistah J. would be proud of ya Harley

Batman: Arkham City is the game that has taken me on the gaming ride of my life, its taken my strength and wisdom to survive the madness and i gotta say the DLC i always wanted is finally coming to us in the Batman: Arkham City Game of the year edition.

Six months after the release of the game we know get our bundled together edition that comes with everything you've been wanting or what you already have in one awesome package: Including Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin as your challenge map characters every challenge map from the iceberg lounge to the Batcave, Batman Year One the movie, all the costumes for Batman and Harley's revenge for free. Did you already buy all the content and just want the new DLC mission added to your main game? Don't worry the same day the DLC comes out will be the same day the GOTY will release. Harley's revenge will come with new areas and the closing story of the Arkham City story as well as switching between Batman and the boy wonder Tim Drake himself.. (So what the heck is Nightwing doing!?) and possibly give us hints for what were up against in.... Gotham?? I would hope to see Harley as a secret challenge map character would hate saying goodbye after i complete this one and only DLC. It would make a lot of sense to make Harley a playable character and once completed to roam Arkham City as Robin!

What do you all think will happen? Will Harley have help from her good friend Poison Ivy? I do think Harley would turn to her for comfort since the two happen to be really great friends and a dangerous duo proven at times. Let's not forget Harley is a pretty bad threat on her own, some think the Joker is the backbone of the two but at times he's caging a beast and because of how Arkham City ended whose going to cage the beast now??

Talia Al Ghul:

With the number of women characters in challenge maps at one cat i feel we need more kick butt females... and whose more kick ass than Talia! She's a deadly assassin, great with swords, a freaking ninja and to top it off she bore batman his kick ass son Damian. Her skills as a martial artist are more than unique enough to put in a game like this. Duel wielding swords and deadly attacks make her a challenge map character to not pass up.

Richard Drakunovski aka Richard Dragon:

Quite possibly one of the best martial artist DC has to throw punches at you, he's mastered Karate, Dragon Kung Fu, and his dragon claw that helps him channel his energy aka chi. His weapon of choice would be his katana and his skill with a mix of chi prowess and ability to use chi as a weapon. 

Bronze Tiger:

He bested Batman in hand to hand combat..... That is all

I love traveling to new places as a caped crusader.. and Catwoman

Just when i thought i Bataranged, flipped over, staffed and whipped my way through the challenge maps of Batman: Arkham City here comes some new scenery to test my skills against... well everyone.

First up we have Batman and his home  away from home the Batcave a personal requested map i wanted to see finally brought to life is a breath of fresh air and proves yet again that Rocksteady and the team are listning and know what there doing and we are in for a lot more surprises from them.

The Batmobile and the Batplane make cameos in the Batcave map obviosuly but what im hoping and wont happen is being able to use them in combat but funny dreams aside its great to see the detail they put into an awesome challenge map such as this one.

Next up we got the Iceberg lounge inspired by Penguin and Mr. Freeze gives the meaning the cold shoulder a lot more purpose since you'll be breaking bones and scratching everyone.

Santa Arkham City gives us a free skin... Thank you BatSanta!

Right before Christmas and the hard work at Rocksteady for the recognition that Batman: Arkham City deserves im more than happy to announce a free skin from Batman Inc. (Kinda like my Dark Phoenix Inc. huh?) The free skin is a way of saying thank you to us and i have to say im very excited and grateful that Rocksteady is doing this for us just proves they know we appreciate all of there hard work. Oh hold on i forgot to give you a little gift of my own.

Want yo play with any of the new skins you just bought but you haven't beaten the game and your eager to slap on your favorite skin? Well lets go back to the days of cheat codes and enter this one:

Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down.

once you hear the confirmation sound you can now pick your favorite skin to play even if you didn't beat the game. I think that was another good move by Rocksteady i always to wear my Sinestro Corps skin during my game and now i can sport it even though i didn't beat the game yet.

Joker lies, kills, cripples.. and TROLLS!

Oh Joker you always know how to ruin the hopes and dreams of countless people luckily this time it didnt involve gas, bullets, fire or knives. Yes the "Leak" of a new Batman sequel called Batman: Arkham World was teased to us at the VGA's by none other by the Joker himself. Aww the Joker's first troll im so proud of the clown prince of crime, too bad this game isnt happening though like this announcment was totally fake and the need to dissect it is pointless because it was a joke. Come on Arkham World sounds like a bad amusment park.

That's where i would send my kids.

My Batman: Arkham City Review

Batman Arkham City is the highly anticipated nerd best game of a superhero ever dream we all thought couldn't happen but has. Once we beat the game though... whats next for Batman in the DLC department? As far as i know this game can go on for the longest time on the DLC train with much respect from comic fans and gamers all around, the adding of new challenge map characters is all good don't get me wrong, although the story is what will keep us coming back for more in the long run.

So who and what could be DLC you ask? I've covered Challenge Map characters:

 Characters i would like to see as challenge map and or story exclusives part 1
Characters i would like to see as challenge map and or story exclusives part 2
Characters i would like to see as challenge map and or story mode exclusives part 3

So without further thrown batarangs lets focus on story based DLC:
Villains who would make perfect candidates for DLC and add more depth and craziness to the story:
Villians that would be perfect to add in Arkham City

I think a sequel would be pushing the legacy a bit honestly don't get me wrong i think another game would be awesome but Arkham City is the kind of game that would benefit more from story based DLC adding in more characters, resetting missions and having you battle characters again, with more missions for Batman means more stuff for Catwoman to do, and of course going around the city as Nightwing, Tim Drake and other heroes from the Batman Family.

Catwoman wont be left out with new outfits.... meow thats good news

Just as i was wondering like you on where Catwoman and her alternate skins are i swoop in and save the day for you, aren't you glad I'm here to answer your questions? Catwoman over the years has gone through a lot of changes with her clothes (Wouldn't you to if you stole diamonds and had a fine taste for life?)  So far the only hinted costume said to be in the game for Catwoman is the long Halloween costume:

A very nice choice if i must say so myself, who would think they would go this far into Catwoman's closet and give her this as an alternate outfit. Another outfit i can dare say to confirm is her animated series look i mean Batman and Robin get there animated series looks and if she does get hers then so will Nightwing:

With these two costumes I'm just gonna say it I STRONGLY LIKE YOU ROCKSTEADY!! Now i know that look "Why didn't you say love MrDarkPhoenix?" Well it takes more than that to get my love (They have done so much just missing these two costumes or at least the one major one you know we both have been thinking of.)

This costume right here will earn my love!! Plz Rocksteady!!
