Ultron is more than a robot in Avengers 2

Just when you think that James Spader is just a voice of our robot villain in the Avengers sequel you could not be more wrong, Not only will James be portraying the voice for Ultron but he'll also be playing the character.

"We did not hire James Spader to do a robot voice," Feige said. The producer added, "He's a very unique and incredibly exciting and unpredictable actor. And Ultron in the comics is a robot, but what's cool about him in the comics -- and certainly how Joss Whedon is interpreting him for the movie -- is that he is much more than just a robot. ... He's infused with much character."

Using full motion and face capture to add to Ultron's character? James Spader is amazing and this is something that will add a more personal feel to Ultron he's humanized which adds to the fact that he hates humans enough to basically bring the heroes on the brink of extinction and this is a performance that cant get here sooner!

The Avengers: Age of Ultron: James Spader talks Ultron

Like in a previous blog James Spader was the only pick for Ultron it's being confirmed now through quotes by the man... uh... robot himself James Spader:

"I have spoken to Joss Whedon about it," Spader said. "Just this weekend I went in for them to take very extensive photographs, head scans, body scans, and all kinds of things in preparation for figuring out how the hell I'm gonna fit in this Ultron character!"

"I'm not a planner," Spader added. "I like to try something different, to just see what happens... I think it'll be a lot of fun and it's incredibly nostalgic for me. When I was a kid my best friend had trunks of comics and I didn't have any so I used to love going for sleepovers at his house. Also I have three sons and two of them have a great interest in comics so they're excited I'm playing the role."

Having this much preparation is going to prove that the time and effort going into this sequel and villain and choice is going to be better than we all think, I'm still on the fence but that's another discussion for another media option.

SDCC 2013: Avengers 2 Plot and Title revealed

Marvel blew our minds this San Diego Comic Con 2013, not with the hopeful confirmation of rumored Phase Three Movies Black Panther and Doctor Strange but instead with the main focus of the Avengers sequel coming to theatres in the summer of 2015.

Thanos being teased to us in the ending of first film had us all at the edge of our seats and clamoring making theories to why he'd show and how he'd literally murder everyone, well the mass murder is right since it wont be Thanos our heroes will be facing off against instead it's going with the Age of Ultron story and using the evil Terminator-esque robot as the baddie this time around.

Not to be based on the recent Age of Ultron story it's going to be tweaked and reworked, With Ant-Man coming to Marvel's Phase Three I already know what you're thinking "With his movie coming and he's not in this what's the point MrDarkPhoenix?" Well Ultron is going to have a different origin this time around and to compensate for that our favorite Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. is going to be responsible for his origins and creation... Thanks a lot for dooming us Tony!

This storyline has been used as a means of Tony Stark creating Ultron or even being manipulated for several reasons:

  1. A highly intelligent replacement for the Avengers when they retire.
  2. J.A.R.V.I.S. becomes more intelligent as being seen to operate a suit on his own in Iron Man 3 and so he's angry in the destruction of the suits and feels he's not wanted or needed.
  3. Tony Stark always delves his mind to dark places in the tech world to stay on top or challenge himself, this time he may have gone to far?
  4. Anyone else think he's simply not just taking a vacation? He could have a fail safe of armors that he hasn't told anyone about, which leads to J.A.R.V.I.S. reactivating them and gaining more intelligence.. possible S.H.I.E.L.D. reference since he would need Nick Fury or Maria Hill nukes and possibly give us an answer to whether Tony was able to fully gain the secrets of the helicarrier and S.H.I.E.L.D
This storyline for the sequel breathes so many questions but let's hear from you guys! @MrDarkPhoenix is my twitter!
