Nick and Flash want to be movie Lex Luthor

Michael Rosenbaum has stated that he's the choice for Lex Luthor in the Man of Steel movies, With the help of his fans (You included) he wants Warner Bros. to keep him on their radar for casting the villain in the Man of Steel sequel.

Do you guys feel Rosenbaum's 10 year run on Smallville as the crazy billionaire can make it in the movies? I'd think he could do it but the jump from TV to a movie is a really big jump, also on the other hand a movie can give his madness and range more of a darker tone if that's how they want to portray Lex.

What do you guys think? Sound off on twitter, blogger or my facebook fan page so we can discuss this topic!

Supergirl in Man of Steel?! *Spoilers*

I mentioned spoilers in the title and will mention spoilers again this is a comic book movie tie-in and possible movie spoiling event so please read at your own discretion.

Man of Steel Prequel #1 is the name of the comic and will feature the story by screenwriter David Goyer, director Zack Snyder, and DC's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, with the actual script penned by Sterling Gates and illustrated by Jerry Ordway. The movie takes place during the events prior to the movie and the Man of Steel won't even be making an appearance, instead it's going to focus on our favorite Supergirl Kara Zor-El.

The comic plays as the origin story of Supergirl in the new movie continuity. The story gives us Kara and several fellow students undertaking a harsh test of survival on Krypton. She passes the test, but not before her lover Kell-Ur is killed by fellow student Dev-Em. Kara's reward for passing and enduring the test is an opportunity to join a team of astronauts that will seek out and colonize a new world in the name of Krypton. However, Dev-Em escapes custody and manages to sabotage the ship. The end result of her final clash with her nemesis is that Kara is sealed in a cryogenic pod and crash-lands on Earth thousands of years before the arrival of Superman.
This comic also offers a number of interesting clues regarding the plot to man of Steel and what Goyer, Snyder, and Warners may have planned for future sequels. The most obvious revelation is that Supergirl is already on Earth, safely preserved in her pod. The comic also reveals that she lands in Ellesmere Island, Canada, and that her pod's distress signal may be what attracts Clark on his journey north that we've seen in the various trailers.
The comic also includes several other interesting tidbits of information. While one panel shows the familiar destruction of Krypton and the escape of baby Kal-El's space pod, it also reveals that Kara is one of many thousands of Kryptonians to embark on this mission of colonization. Superman might not be able to call himself "The Last Son of Krypton" in this universe. The comic also references the Thanagarian empire (could get the Hawkgirl reference, then later Hawkman), teasing the existence of a wider DC Universe in this new movie.
Can Zack Synder deliver to us a great possible Supergirl appearance in movie, sequel or even standalone movie?!

Superman won't be getting rocked in Man of Steel

Zack Snyder director of the Man of Steel has dropped a cellophane S on us revealing a key part of the Superman mythology will not be apart of the newest reboot.

“I’ll be honest with you, there’s no Kryptonite in the movie,” Snyder said. Man of Steel hopes to humanize Superman, but by giving him new flaws and vulnerabilities. Superman actor Henry Cavill said, “Although he is not susceptible to the frailties of mankind, he is definitely susceptible to the emotional frailties.”

So this should make for something interesting, seems like they could use our favored green rock at a later time or if "Humanizing" him is another word for possibly de-powering our Man of Steel.
