Nintendo doesn't have time to add everyone back to Super Smash Bros.

Masahiro Sakurai revealed the process behind bringing back fan favorite characters that were once playable in the Wii U and 3DS Super Smash Brothers title coming up. When asked about including past playable characters:

“I can answer that: no. We don’t have the time to fully recreate every single character who’s been in Smash Bros at this point.”

“Adding new characters is not a simple addition – it’s really multiplication. The amount of work, adding a character is multiplied and becomes bigger and bigger as you go. We can’t because of the amount of work it takes. However, I do believe I understand that each character has its own set of fans out there who really like that character.”

“So we’re not going to cut characters out of the way, we’re going to put in as many characters as we can, we really want to do that, because it’s good for the fans and good for all of us. But in the event that we do have to cut some characters, I’d like to apologise in advance to those fans.

As bad as that might be think about it like this the original 12:
Mario
Luigi
Kirby
Ness
Donkey Kong
Link
Samus
Jigglypuff
Yoshi
Starfox
Captain Falcon
Pikachu

They make the way back that's a no brainer guys and other favorites including Ike, Marth, Peach are in the strong running so no need to worry, on the controversial subject on DLC Nintendo might do free updates and character DLC... for free is the real question though.

Hope this still stands even now as the topic grows closer to salvation or absolute controversy.

New Pokemon X&Y Information

For anyone already intimidated by the picture above it only gets better from there with the list of new info Nintendo has released regarding Pokemon X&Y and you guys are going to be just as excited as I am! Pokemon X&Y have some newly confirmed featured and man it's going to be fun to go into them!

  1. Horde Battles!? - Having an encounter with not one Pokemon not two for double battles... but up to 5 Pokemon at once!! This seems like your one will battle the horde on it's own, not sure if it's going to have some of it's attacks multi for the purpose of the horde but this seems like a lot of fun and catching some rare Pokemon is going to be a blast! And no I didn't forget my fellow grinders.. can you imagine defeating the whole horde with one Pokemon?.... The experience I can taste it now.
  2. The highly rumored fairy type is a reality, it's going to be applied to Pokemon like Jigglypuff, Gardevoir, and the newly announced Slyveon. Think they're not going to be strong? Little piece of advice keep your dragons away from the fairy type trainer it's super effective!
  3. Sky battles! I know sounds awesome right?! By the name you can obviously tell that your Pokemon will now sometimes taking dramatic battling to the sky! For flying Pokemon or like haunter for example and others who can levitate off the ground, These battles can only be executed with special trainers that can be found perched on cliffs and a myriad of other perilously tall objects

MEGA MAN the blue bomber is officially a new playable character in the new Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Super Smash Bros U/ 3D at E3 this year!

This year for Nintendo were expecting a lot! The new Wii U titles including Yarn Yoshi, and Legend of Zelda: Windwaker (remake) are all to make Nintendo something to compete with like always. But Super Smash Bros. has been on the topic of many conversations and debates, but I've uncovered some gamer gold for you guys! Super Smash Bros. 4 is going to be in attendance at E3 2013.. that's this year! Nintendo President Satoru Iwata confirmed that screenshots of the Wii U and 3DS title would be shown at the press conference... until Masahiro Sakurai  the franchise director and creator of Smash Bros took to twitter and confirmed more than just screenshots would be shown.

“Wii U and 3DS versions — I would like to show you both. Other games have had visuals shown, but you still have to wait for Smash Bros. But we’ll be able to release something better.”

Something better has yet to be seen but it could possibly be something awesome and great... like a playable floor demo?! An awesome trailer showing fan requested characters Maybe some inclusion of an iconic video game character *coughs* Mega-Man! With Namco Bandai helping with the development we can only be in the best hands and we cant wait for E3!

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate newest screenshots

All over this blog are the newest screenshots for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate for the 3DS, looks really amazing and playing DS titles - Dawn of Sorrow especially I'm thinking this game is going to be something to pick up for all! Might even break my "Buying a 3DS for Pokemon X and Y rule"

From the looks of it we take it back to Simon Belmont days and start whipping people! and a parry or counter option can also make combat more fluent and make killing the undead well easier.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate will be available on Nintendo 3DS™ on March 5th, 2013.

Is Majora's Mask 3D.... True or False!?

With Ocarina of Time 3D and it's towering success you'd think Nintendo would give a little 3D makeover love to the second best N64 Zelda Title Majora's Mask. What sparked this controversy train you ask well it all started with a website broadcasting the game.... yea not much to go on i know but then it was promptly taken down as of this morning.... again not much but the fact that it was taken down could mean it's fake most likely but we all know Nintendo likes to have its surprises kept under wraps until some big event. None the less i would love to see this game in 3D on the 3DS it deserves to be relived and replayed by all gamers new and old more news to come on whether this is real or not but I'm hoping for nostalgia reasons we get to play this game again I've been aching to wear that Zora mask and use the abilities of my enemies oopa Mega Man style!

New Smash Bros. might have us waiting for a while..

With the announcement of the Wii U and 3DS everyone was wondering what games would be available that we've all been asking for Super Smash Brothers U and 3D were announced at last years e3 event with no news as of yet about the Wii U itself or the Smash Brothers in general. Our Patience will be rewarded says  creator Masahiro Sakurai. My guess is they want to fine tune the original Brawl instead of making "Just a port" they want to make it special for the new system its going to be on:

  • Adding new characters to the mix specifically for the U and 3DS.
  • In a word buffing and nerfing characters... (Mainly Meta Knight)
  • New features that give the portable gameplay hours of replayability.
These theories and more have been plaguing my mind trying to see what Nintendo is planning, my main idea as to why this game might take a while is Nintendo wants more out of Nintendo special guest characters aka Snake and Sonic so it might take a while and our patience will be awarded with more characters from both Nintendo and maybe other characters..

Who knows what's under the sleeves of Nintendo e3 2012 could give us a teaser trailer for a portable Smash Bros. game, most of the time when companies use the "In time" excuse its usually to throw people off so they can be that much more surprised if something is revealed later on.
