Nolan Verse Batman Villians that could

Poison Ivy:

Christina Hendricks:

Now I know Poison Ivy is super natural villain who wouldn’t fit into a darker real life film, I hope these points make it easier to have you think differently.

First I would like to say that first and foremost Pamela Isley is a plant loving extremist eco terrorist but what she’s doing can it really be considered bad? (Hold on to that question.)

Eric McDavid a green anarchist and vegan is a real life eco-terrorist, being convicted of crimes against the environment. Those ideals and his ecoanarchism mentality make how he went about something he was passionate about in just the dark tone we need to look over. He and his partners had bomb plans, plans to sabotage the Nimbus Dam and fish hatchery. Their plots mainly involved property damage of harmful environmental atrocities.

With that in mind how dark can Chris Nolan go with Poison Ivy in a dark knight movie? Darker than a lot of places you wouldn’t go. Think about the mental breaking points Batman has made in the past: Scarecrow pushed the limits of what you’re afraid of, Ra’s al Ghul pushed his limits for the sake of what needs to be done to save the world, The Joker does what he does best and pushes how far you will go in literally every sense, New villain Catwoman will push his means of lust and putting his duty before his possible love since Rachel died, and the big man Bane himself pushes the Batman to his psychical back breaking point.

What Poison Ivy represents is a great means to be represented on film; she fights for the environment, the plants, and nature that can’t fight back she takes up the mantle to be nature’s savior.

Poison Ivy will stop at nothing to defend her plants and the environment, so instead of using the blow things up approach let’s take her expertise of Botany and Toxicology into affect here, crimes based off various poisons and toxic materials. Bombs yes but releasing a poisonous gas, explosions yes  but spores that affect the nervous system Toxicology is limitless and so should her options. What better way to get your point across then with an everlasting affect of poison?

Another thing a real life Poison Ivy would have is access and knowledge of blue prints, bomb making, and a lab to work in for her crimes to take full effect.

Her trademark immunity to toxins, bacteria, and viruses should be implemented because it’s more a part of her character than the ability to control plants. Her poison kiss is part of her game also, her learning curve and descent into madness should be taken into full force in this kind of dark movie, her realizing after her accident that the world never took her seriously or the environment so she takes it upon herself with her new found prowess and resources to make the world listen to the damaging eco system.

Taking her crimes to power plants, towers, and dams, Batman will have to answer the most damaging question of all “What is the limit between right and wrong with Poison Ivy?” since Ivy fights for her plants is Batman really going to push forward in pursuing her or feel his human side come into play as the Dark Knight? Since the enviornment is a serious problem what will Batman do to aprehend someone whose passionate about her goals of eco equality.

Her arsenal in a real life movie should include: Toxins, viruses and possible eco friendly weapons. How far you can go is limitless; she would be portrayed as her own twisted life incarnate of Mother Nature.

The Black Mask Guide (Hopefully for Mark Strong.)

Just to save time i am referring to Black Mask as Mark Strong.

Reading Material:
Batman #386-387

May be classic but it sure gets the job done, this basically explains the story of Roman Sionis a child of a very wealthy family. Long story short his family resented the Wayne family even though Roman as a kid befriended them and even a young Bruce Wayne.

Christopher Nolan is looking for gritty villains? Look no further than Black Mask.

Black Mask isn't just a Batman villain fellow readers and nerds he is a villain for Bruce Wayne also, one time he kidnapped Wayne Enterprise executives and putting masks on there faces. This drew Batman's attention (yeah like Bruce had to go far and what tell himself in costume?) as he hunted down the False Face Society and ultimately meets Black Mask.

Black Mask is the greatest crime lord in Gotham having the ranks of even commanding and orchestrating Arkham escapes, and some single handed.

Black Mask and his group the False Face gang ranked up in Gotham exceptionally well under his control, one thing you had to do was wear a mask from his collection and wear it on jobs and around Black Mask himself.

What Mark Strong (or whoever gets cast) should focus on is Black Mask's thirst for blood and crime, he's a villain that is kill you first cant ask questions because its to late your dead.

Black Mask is a Criminal Master Mind, being a crime lord for as long as he has its a safe bet that you know he isn't stupid. Were talking about a man that nearly took control of Gotham City and its crime underworld at least twice.

You want dark for a villain? how about i throw in that among a lot of things Black Mask is capable of he is a renowned torture expert, whether its to get information about something or just for the heck of it. That spin and twist would be a perfect thing to portray in a real life Batman movie series, granted younger audiences wouldn't be able to see it but i believe Black Mask is not and will not be a family friendly villain.

Mark Strong has no problems portraying a mob boss in a movie (Frank D'Amico Kick Ass) what would need to be done is a complete mental spiral take Frank and magnify his personality to at least 1000% and darker. He would kill this role because of how much depth he has as an actor and what this character represents Mark would put his whole self into it.

Look i found the False Face Gang.

Martial Arts: Black Mask couldn't have gotten to be a master crime lord without knowing a thing or two about knowing how to fight.... you know that right? He can and has been on par with Nightwing, Catwoman and even Red Hood and Batman himself. There would need to be a psyhical part to pull this off but while in Black Mask mode Mark would do great.

All in all i believe with Chris Nolan and the direction he wants to take Dark Knight Rises he would not overlook Black Mask at all. Mark Strong or whoever might be cast would need to blend mob boss with a dark twist with some bloody knives and two semiautomatic pistols and an attitude to match.

By the way with Catwoman already in the movie it should be known and or shown in the movie that Black Mask hates with a passion the lovely Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.

Don't think Black Mask is crazy yet? How about he forcibly disfigured his wife into taking him back after his mask incident she committed suicide and he has a mannequin that he talks to like its real. Kind of like Two Face and his dependence/ need for his lucky coin.

The Tom Hardy guide to Bane. By MrDarkPhoenix

Tom Hardy should research the role:
Batman The Animated Series:
Season 1 episode 75 – Bane
The Batman:
Season 1 episode 2 – Traction
Both episodes  feature Bane when he first shows up as what he is, a mysterious assassin who has been hired to kill batman.

Reading material:
Batman Vengeance of bane:

Tom should capitalize on that image as well as the big muscle bound villain, Bane is more brains than people think.

Bane’s mentality leaves A LOT to work with he was just a boy his father was unable to carry out his life sentence for trying to overthrow a government and so he had to live his life in the prison Peña Duro. Bane didn’t let it get to him he overcame this hardship and grew stronger from it.

Bane’s childhood teddy bear Osito was his only friend in prison while he was a boy. (Although a lot of people didn’t know he had a knife in the bear for protection.) Should be included in the movie if they do a flashback to Bane's past gives us a feeling of Bane at a time when he was still a child.

While in prison Bane literally teaches himself everything, without a formal means of education bane begins teaching and learning all kinds of scientific and tactical disciplines. Making him one of Batman’s smartest and deadliest foes. Being a natural genius also helps.

Martial Arts:  While in prison Bane studied and also created his own forms of martial arts. What Tom should do is own that fact and brush up on some unique moves, for this role he needs to become a literal killing machine.

Another thing about Bane’s mentality is that he is highly devious and can plan and strategize with the best of them and so forth. His first thought when he arrived in Gotham was taking on Batman head on is foolish so he broke down the walls of Arkham as every prisoner escaped. Waiting three months for batman to round everyone up that’s when bane made his move.

All in all i believe Bane to be a villain with high Psychological and Psychical attributes, being a hired gun and a master planner makes him a double whammy for someone like batman. Throw in the skills he uses with the venom and you have a bat recipe for disaster.

The Anne Hathaway guide for Catwoman by MrDarkPhoenix

Just a few things i think would help Anne Hathaway on her road to already killing this role.

Michelle Pfeiffer needs a cameo of some kind looking out a window when she sees Catwoman on the news, a victim of a crime museum owner or something.

Anne should research Catwoman good tools:

Batman the Animated Series:
Season 1: episodes 15 and 16 (The first meeting as both Catwoman and Selina Kyle, Anne can add her own spin after this.)
Batman Returns is a great tool seeing as how whenever i think Catwoman i think this movie and Michelle Pfeiffer.

The 1960's Batman TV Series starring Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt. (Purrrrrrrrrfect)

Catwoman Crime Pays (Great graphic novel explaining a lot about Catwoman and good material for Anne to use.)

There’s more to looking the part you have to be psychotic also, she may not be murder crazy but she's a crazy woman none the less.

She needs to own the suit, although we don’t know what it looks like catwoman’s best feature is that she rocks her clothes she knows herself all around and Anne should capitalize on that.

The level of madness that needs to be portrayed is high in this movie, hopefully we will be treating to a scene or two of Anne aka Selina’s descent into madness and her becoming mad and becoming Catwoman.

Martial arts: Catwoman is quite the accomplished martial artist even being on par with and beating batman once or twice. Her fighting style is more based on speedy getaways and leaving the battle field with whatever she stole.

Being a cat burglar and knowing as such I expect to see high adrenaline jumping from building to building, lots of running and fighting.

Stealthy acrobatics:  Catwoman is a top Olympic level dc athlete quite thinks she’s superhuman but she’s just Gotham’s finest cat burglar

With all this talk of Catwoman why would I want to leave out Selina Kyle? A very intricate meeting should take place during her and Bruce (before and during her descent into madness) they should lock eyes at a dinner event or something and us as the audience know that sh!ts about to hit the fan and we should be ready.
My Suit hypothesis:

The Nolan-Verse Batman Villians that could...

Catman:

Once Thomas Blake a famous hunter and millionaire turned to crime because he grew bored of hunting animals and wanted more thrill. Modeling himself after Catwoman (big surprise i know) she wasn't fond of having the way she does thing copied and they automatically disliked each other because they did the same thing, stealing cat related things etc.

They even tried teaming up but Catman is wife beater and Catwoman couldn't take it anymore. Catman has no problem holding his own against the martial artists of DC and being a dark villain for a Nolan Batman movie.

Who to portray him?
Nicholas Cage:
Being a talented actor he gives off the presence of Catman in himself and i think he would kill the role. Plus we all know he's extremely good at playing Anti-Batman characters *coughs* Big Daddy.

Deadshot:
The second best assassin DC has to offer being topped by there number one assassin Deathstroke, Floyd Lawton is a psychotic killer who wants the job done and to get paid. People who get in his way often have graves made for them, he doesn't stop until the job is done. So in a movie why not put him as an assassin hired by... i don't know a main villain in the movie to take out the Bat or go to arkham trying.

Who to portray him?
Take into account due to his appearance he would mostly be in costume with his face bandaged up, even with the bottom half exposed its still a matter of who can mentally and psychically play the role.

Bradley Stryker:
Having already portrayed Deadshot on Smallville he already has an idea of how to portray the character. As we have all seen Christopher Nolan has a habit of having his actors portray a much darker adaptation of the characters they are portraying so add that plus his acting ability and we have ourselves a live action movie Deadshot.

Hugo Strange:
Every nerds favorite master psychiatrist of the insane, he literally only has two minds he cant crack and that's The Joker and Batman. His areas of expertise include but are not limited to Chemistry,Genetics, Hypnosis,Psychiatry,Psychology and Tactical Analysis. I don't know about you nerds and comic freaks but that's a resume that screams Nolan movie.

Who to portray him?

Tobin Bell:
Come on now the frighting Jigsaw who we have seen is used to playing the role of someone who is clearly in control 99.9% of the time. His ability to play psychotic is mind bending and combine that into the Hugo strange mentality, that would be a role to for the century.

"You know the sort of people I've gone up against, so you know I don't say this lightly... but the Joker? Riddler? Croc, Scarecrow and the others? He's in their league. Only without the crippling psychoses to cloud his judgment"
An actual quote from the Batman himself so you KNOW he takes Hugo seriously.

Wrath:
A psychotic Anti-Batman in every sense he kills cops, murders the innocent people and just everything Batman Stands for he's on the other side to stop him. Having parents killed by Commissioner Gordon  and being labeled as a Batman copy bat would be a great twist in a live action movie. who wouldn't want to see a live action Wrath vs. Batman fight scene bloodied fists and all.

Who to portray him?
Paul Wesley:
I know what your thinking trust me, hear me out though Paul has everything an Anti-Batman character should have. Handsome billionaire by day for his "normal" life then by night he puts on his cape and cowl and releases his dark side. Paul would have no problem playing this kind of role how he portrays rage and his vision if this character combine Wrath will be portrayed perfectly.

And finally i have said it once i will keep saying it!! BLACK MASK PORTRAYED BY MARK STRONG!  come on black mask tortures people with custom made knives and has run Arkham escapes by himself.

Holy movie shootings batman!

Zonk! Boink! The Dark Knight Rises the final part of the real life Batman series directed by Christopher Nolan is shooting and up and running people. All we know so far is they cast Tom Hardy as Bane? Not my best villain choice for this real life movie but we will see how that plays out. With the beautiful Anne Hathaway playing the sexy yet psychotic thief Selina Kyle aka Catwoman is something I cannot wait to see.

My last pick for a villain that I really hope makes it into the movie, Roman Sionis aka Black Mask.  The brutal and sadistic crime lord of Gotham, not to load his handgun and pull the trigger but he has stood up to Batman and Catwoman in a fight (yes Catwoman is a very talented martial artist.)

If Chris Nolan is looking for a real life villain with a lot to offer then Black Mask is a serious way to go. Who can complete the role of a mobster with a thirst for a blood and an expert on torture? Keep in mind that he is a skilled and ruthless martial artist. Mark Strong who portrayed Frank D’amico in Kick Ass is a great choice for this role, already having the mobster mind set he should have no problems giving this role the justice it deserves.

Not to mention Ra's al Ghul will make another appearance, not in the way were thinking though, he won’t be portrayed by Liam Neeson will not be playing the iconic immortal villain. Josh Pence will be taking on the role of Ra's al Ghul taking place in flash backs 30 years before batman begins.

Still can’t wait for more information to be released about this movie, the franchise has gone in excellent directions with more that we’ll have to wait and see until July 20th 2012. Don’t forget comic fans remember my famous quote. “With great screening great high quality Anne Catwoman screenshots follow” meow and drool readers.I would also like to bring to everyone's attention that the Joker will not be returning in this movie, nor would Chris Nolan have used recycled footage of Heath Ledger either.
