Silent Hill Downpour gets an uproar of patches

Xbox360 users are in for a... horror in store for them since the patch is now available for Xbox360 versions of Silent Hill: Downpour as Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced a patch update for Silent Hill: Downpour, released in March. The online patch, available via XBOX Live, enhances the gameplay experience by improving features and bugs within the game, including, but not limited to:

Improved frame rate
Fixed save game system
Fixed bugs in "Homeless" side quest/mission
Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes

A PS3 patch is currently in development and will be released... soon?

KONAMI also announced today that Silent Hill: Downpour is going to be available for download, via XBOX Live Games on Demand, beginning on October 30 for $39.99 not bad for a game that's cheaper and has the fixes to it giving new buyers a full and complete game!

Nightwing DLC Review

Our first piece of Batman: Arkham City DLC is here and let me tell you i want and need more! Sadly there is no story involving Nightwing(Future DLC to come?) but as comic nerds let's all just imagine Nightwing is doing what needs to be done in order to save his mentor and then he'll show up in the story somehow eventually. Nightwing aka Dick Grayson the first Robin, the best Robin comes to us in challenge map form he is free to play in any and all challenge maps and even comes with some of his own challenge maps available to all characters for challenge map purposes.

Feels like its Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 and they just revealed a new character right? Nightwing comes prepared to beat up and silently take down anyone who stands in his way, being equipped with his trusty Escrima Sticks along with other means of total butt kicking technology. Dick is by far the best human athlete in all of DC and in this game that really comes in handy because he flips over enemies and counters enemies so smoothly mixed in with his extensive martial arts training and we've got ourselves a complete high scoring challenge map character.

A lot of Nightwings gadgets are unique to him and just plain awesome: His wrist darts that can stealthy take out enemies, there's something you should know and that's you can only carry 3 at a time and they don't regenerate so use them wisely young detective. Since today marks Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 3 his first person view for the darts shouldn't be to hard to fire for you FPS veterans. His Escrima Sticks carry certain.... shocking attributes as they stun nearby enemies leaving them vulnerable to increase your combo meter for your high score.

Now onto my final verdict as to whether its a Download buy or Download Shy:

Good Points:

1. Always good to see how Rocksteady incorporates new Batman family members into this game.
2. Nightwing plays just how i imagine him, perfect job Rocksteady.
3. All his gadgets are unique to him and his athleticism is shown and known to be better than Batman.
4. Its the first Robin people... did you not expect the best.

Bad Points:

1. He's not in the story... =(...... yet.
2. Could use some more costume choices:

Come on you nerds and gamers this is by far a Download..... BUY! The first DLC in a long line of great character choices and Nightwing is an excellent first choice to lead us onto the train of DLC, let me say this though Rocksteady has the power to make DLC for this game exceptional and i believe they will not leave us hanging and give us the best DLC ever in the best super hero game ever.

Time to finally see who will win between the Cartoon Network legends

Ever sit back as a kid and watch Cartoon Network and think..... man i would love to see Grim and Samurai Jack duel and see whose better? Or a monkey battle between Mojojojo and Monkey from Dexters Laboratory? Then i use my magic pencil and draw out an alternative for all your dream matches and present to you Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL. The brawler type of fighter which will remind you of Super Smash Bros. although the major difference is its on Xbox360, PS3, 3DS, and Wii.

Wondering who you can play as on the roster? A 26 attendance is expected from this game from alot of your favorite Cartoon Network characters from all over:

You know of course there is more to it than that? Dont want to spoil the roster for you too much but the game is worth all the time and respect you would give another fighting game on the market, I mean seriously this is the ONLY Super Smash type game on the PS3 and Xbox360 so i can say im hype and excited for this game, the community reactions can be endless i would hope brawl players would take a look at this game forget that lets have alot more than that take a look at the game.

A game that offers an actual story mode up to 8hrs, 4 player co-op offline and online versus capabilties makes this a game to keep in mind if your in a Super Smash mood but cant stand Meta Knight or dont even have a Wii.

Some Characters i would like to make there fighting debuts:

If not all of them then Scooby Doo would be awesome.

My favorite cartoon when i was kid, i'd absolutley love to play as Secret Squirrel and Morroco Mole.

Borderlands 2 in the works? What classes do you want to see?

The wonderfully combined First Person Shooter/ RPG Borderlands has become a more than deserved hit, releasing for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and even MAC the critically acclaimed hit has its share of getting itself out there. Now gamers the sequel we've been dreaming of maybe coming to us, sometime in 2012 is the rumored release for the sequel. Now before you think Gearbox Software would troll us.... not yet anyway, Mikey Neumann Gearbox creative director has gone on record saying that Borderlands 2 is a "no brainer" because of the success of the first game.

We can all tell that the staff and us as gamers love Borderlands, all the DLC they made for it proves they take us into consideration. unfourtently though rumors will surface and get people's hopes up. Lucky for all of you i am Marcus the Rumor Slayer. With over 4million units sold, a game of the year and excitement from staff to continue all they need is to green light the project. Red light Green light make this game 1,2,3! Might be a little more complex than that but with all of its popularity i see no reason for them to continue with this reliable franchise for more games and more DLC for the future. All we need to do is sit back and pay close attention to any and all news from a reliable and awesome source.... *coughs* HERE *coughs*

Here are some key things that i think will make the new Borderlands even more awesome:

1. The ability to choose between male or female versions of the original four members: Hunter,Soilder, Siren and Berserker.
2. New Characters. Archer, Weapons expert, Spirit Medium, Machine Expert

Archer:

Bows of Different elements.

Arrows of different effects and elements.

Basically the archers role would be like the hunter, in the back shooting his arrows from a       distance. In some cases you can choose which arrows you want to fire like:fire, lightning, poison or any other combination you want.

Weapons expert:

Swords, throwing knives, bombs, melee up close and personal with hand weapons but has bombs to get out in case up close isnt working.

Spirit Medium:

Can summon and manipulate the spirits of the dead to fight for him/her.

at higher levels enemeies you kill can be taken control of for a brief period of time.

Machine Expert: (Man or Woman in a mechanical suit)

Energy blasts from suit in different elements later on.
