Capcom buffs Resident Evil 6

Fans have been wanting some small changes to Resident Evil 6 gameplay wise and Capcom has been listening to fans and will provide a free update coming to Xbox360 and Playstation 3 in mid December and the changes are listed as such:

Gamers will be able to adjust the camera to give a greater field of view as best suits their play style. 

Screenshots illustrating the new camera and co-op features can be found on Capcom’s press site. The camera screenshot pairs show the minimum and maximum range of the new camera setting. Please note that this feature is still in development and may change without further notice before the title update is released.

Subtitle options have been improved so that English language audio can be combined with subtitles in an alternative language.

As recently announced, Ada Wong’s campaign will be unlocked from the start and have an optional player-controlled co-op partner added. It was previously necessary to complete all three other campaigns in order to unlock Ada’s story. 

‘No Hope’ difficulty level will be added above the existing levels, for players who want an extreme challenge.

Is Jill Valentine out of Resident Evil: Retributions?

The newly titled Resident Evil: Retributions is the fifth installment in the live action movies in the Resident Evil series. Latest news has us believing that Sienna Guillory who starred in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, skipped Extinction, and was teased at us being battle suit Jill controlled by Wesker in the Resident Evil 5 game. Now it seems like she’s being skipped again, but I say its rumors Milla has been tweeting about an Alice Vs. Jill fight which I would love to see bout time the movie veteran went up against the game veteran in an all out female brawl.

With that being said there’s more adding insult to injury there replacing Jill with another top favorite female character Ada Wong, Don’t get me wrong I love Ada and to see her in a live action movie would be amazing. Though without thinking ahead they had no means of introducing Ada at all so with no back story it’s going to seem like they’re going to force her into the movies in a sense, Ada was introduced in the second game as a double agent who helped/hurt Leon on his quest who he believed was dead from a fall (Silly Leon no one dies in Resident Evil.) She makes her grand return in Resident Evil 4 alive and kicking ass in a butterfly red dress.

Lacking that kind of character development and introduction her first movie appearance would be a lot of work to have everything fall into place correctly so it makes sense, I mean the games had years to fall together in the puzzle that we know and love as Resident Evil. With the movies being different from the games (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing keep in mind.) The sudden first introduction of my beloved Ada Wong both intrigues and scares me since the movies mainly revolve around Alice you can’t have a newcomer like Ada roll up and expect to have some screen time.

At least Jill we knew she was in the second movie and returned to the fifth because in the novels based off the movie Jill had her own convoy of survivors and did what she had to do as their leader. Easy character placement and would be just how you can speed the process up. Aside from Ada appearing Leon S. Kennedy and Barry Burton will also be making their appearances in the movie as well, another set of characters that seem to be added to the franchise to late. Leon is everyone’s favorite “Worst first day ever” character and Barry is just awesome.

When more news surfaces I will let you all know so far with this news I’m not going to say I’m the happiest Resident Evil fan but with a year wait and time to work on what the fans like this could be a good movie to redeem Afterlife. Let’s not forget Wesker’s return to the big screen since we all know Wesker can’t die either, hopefully they can do a flashback or something and show us the Wesker vs. the Alice clones fight I was robbed of, a full powered Alice vs. Wesker fight, and hopefully the Jill involvement. Maybe even a possible what if from fans, how about an awesome LONG fight scene between Leon and Wesker? 

Games i would like to see on the PS Vita: Resident Evil: Reliving Horror

I am a Resident Evil FANATIC i love the series so much and always shell out my money whenever capcom makes a new one, (Which is why i am getting my 3DS next year for Resident Evil Revelations.) with that being said when the PS Vita gets there exclusive title guess whose gonna be buying it? Me thats who.

So what should this portable title feature well how about we start with the title Reliving Nightmares.

Since to my knowledge Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Jill Valentine have never initially met, lets introduce them in this game.

Now whats Leon without a little help from his secret agent/fan love intrest Ada Wong. Since Leon would star in this game Ada wont be to far behind helping/hurting the cause i have planned for this game. I also see nothing wrong with a much anticipated meet up between the women and an awesome fight scene with Jill and Ada.

So guys Reliving Nightmares the title says it all how about we mess with our awesome heroes?

Can you guess from my selection and the title what I plan doing? How about I give you a hint, let’s have them relive what they all have in common..... Raccoon City!

That’s right the nightmare they all had to endure and survive through is back and it’s badder than ever.

Don’t get me wrong I’m fully aware that Raccoon City is well... nuke town but how about this since the T-virus and the G-virus were sold and dispatched to the highest bidders let’s make one of those buyers is a super maniacal psycho path with too much time on his hands who decides to take control of a small country only to turn into Raccoon City 2.0?

Thing is he spends his time recreating Raccoon City and all the events down to the T, was he there? Or did he spend a lot of time reading about what happened? I won’t tell :D

Zombies! there second game comeback since Revelations and there definite return to this game needs to happen for that classic feel plus if this game is going to recreate Raccoon City, then the zombies are the key point of the story. Why not throw in the Lickers also?

 

 

SCARE FACTOR: I don’t know about you guys but Resident Evil 2 and 3 scared me a lot and 4 was right up there so what needs to be brought back is the oh my god I don’t know what’s coming at me and what I need to shoot paranoia that those games heavily depicted.

Now for this we need to scare not only us but our main characters, I know your thinking our characters don’t get scared but think of something that would scare Jill to the point of absolute terror.

That’s right! I went there! Nemesis the creature on top of my scared me sh!tless list is making his big bad return, can you imagine the absolute terror in Jill's voice if she hears S.T.A.R.S. once again? Can you imagine my sheer terror if I heard that again?

Now something else that I’m going to mention is the puzzles and what they went through would make it too easy right? Wrong come on if the puzzles are hard for us they have to be hard for them wouldn’t want things to be too easy for them now would we? I propose we switch up the puzzles since this is basically doing Resident evil 2 and 3 over I think giving Leon the mixed oil puzzle, Claire the sewer puzzle helping Ada, and Jill helping lil Sherry Birkin.

Now let’s not just make this a straight "Hey crazy guy reenacted Raccoon City let’s get lazy." absolutely not we should have some new content squeeze in some extra characters and some behind the scenes Raccoon City details that were kept hidden.

Obviously we need to have our characters interact and what better way than our big bad nemesis enemy let’s say he starts chasing Claire thinking he's Jill, but then Leon, Claire, and Jill are all together and Claire says "You know this big monster thing was chasing after me." Jill responds "What are you talking about....?" Only to be interrupted by the infamous quote S.T.A.R.S! starting Jill's descent into true horror because she has to deal with him again, this time she won’t be alone and Leon and Claire know there’s other and always be bigger threats than just what they’re aware of.
