Video Monday!

Hey guys MrDarkPhoenix here with a new Monday blog Video Monday! whoo i'm going to take a break from casting for a while to focus more on spreading my other works like my video's and podcasts and of course my blog. So before i give you the link let me just explain how i review games and why i use the scale that i do:

On a review scale from 1-5 instead of doing that i use my own unique system of Buy, Try, or Shy... it rhymes i know but more importantly it gives me the chance of giving you guys the watchers and gamers a straight one word answer:

Buy - 5 -  The game is great and you should run out and spend your money on it right now!
Try - 4- 3- The game is good it does things right but probably not enough and you can spend your money at full price or give it a rent
Shy - 2-1 - This game did little right or didnt have the features to back up what it was selling so i would avoid this title all together

Devil May Cry HD remakes for 10th anniversary

It's your tenth birthday Dante! Shoot off those demon heads accordingly and enjoy some cake and the company of good friends that can all kill. Most games have been getting HD related presents for there anniversaries so wouldn't it only make sense for Devil May Cry to get one as well right? Well Capcom has just confirmed  Devil May Cry 1,3 and some Devil May Cry that doesnt exist (u_u) as a fully HD textured bundle for the low price of $39.99 for both the Xbox360 and Ps3 with full support of Trophies and Acheivements. Don't get me wrong a full HD remake of the franchise that started me out on gaming is  awesome, or would the new DmC game just make us sad and see what we had in the past with the old Dante and have us more spiteful towards the new look they gave him?

HD remakes of your best games puts the impression that your proud of said games and want them shown in a more high tech light and want your classic and new fans alike to love the experience from start to finish, who knows what there planning for the classic Devil May Cry as there are more features they have not told us about yet... uh oh i cant wait to hear about this, all in all it should be something to behold having my tv's full power on the new way they can make it look so much better. Maybe a series of playable characters that can hopefully carry over into all the Devil May Cry games.

Characters i would like to play as a bonus feature:

Lightning powers and full Sparda capabilities sign me up!

My Cast Monday: Devil May Cry 2 (Revisited)

I know Devil May Cry 2 wasn't the best game and i was really contemplating whether or not to cast it but i cant deny anything no matter how bad. (Call me dedicated readers.) So instead of completely disowning it i say we just remix it and keep some basic elements for a better video game to movie adaptation shall we?

Arius:

Stuart Townsend:

Lucia:

Eliza Dushku:

Mundus defeated at the hands of Dante last movie is recovering and plotting to get revenge on the demon hunter. In his travels he finds two things he needs in order to permanently defeat Dante a corrupt human business tycoon looking for demonic artifacts and a lust for evil. A demon hunter he corrupts and sends to spy on and kill Dante.

This sequel should include a lot more dark surroundings and even darker enemies to gather the feel for this movie.

Ali or Scarlett should reprise there roles as Trish since she was around during that time plus Dante is going to need help taking out Arius while Trish fights Lucia.

The movie should begin with Dante and Lucia entering a museum looking at an important artifact missing, where they are both then attacked by a group of demons, temporarily forming an alliance with the stranger they both fight there way through the demons Dante smirks and tries to introduce himself to Lucia, until he is attacked by her a fight scene breaks out between them until Matier stops them both.

Matier:

 Betty White:

Throughout the movie we learn more about Lucia and her background and are introduced to her mother Matier, unknown to her mother though she is being controlled a behind the scenes Mundus.

Lucia takes Dante to Dumary Island where a first introduced Arius smirks that his plan is coming into play.

Trish should be featured back and forth revealing small things she did to make things easier for Dante until they evidently meet up, as she automatically distrusts Lucia. Being forced to work alongside her the three of them venture on confronting many demons along there way getting separated you the usual.

The truth about Lucia comes out as Trish realizes she was a creation by Arius and Mundus, what better way to stick it to Trish then having his real creation take out his original. Trish and Lucia fight it out until there interrupted and are both knocked out by Arius.

Dante being the hero knows of everything that has been going on and will stop at nothing to defeat Arius, he saves Trish and Lucia who is now free of there control.

Toward the end of the movie were knowing Dante defeated Arius and now ventures into the demon world, in a heartfelt not really good bye Trish hands Dante his fathers weapon Sparda to help him venture into the demon world and bring him back safely. Dante goes off on his motorcycle and goes off.

Matier comforts Lucia and Trish by explaining that his father made the same trip as she fought alongside him and made it back in one piece, Trish wipes her face and stays strong as Lucia says "Hey.. Devils Never Cry right?"

An extra scene shows Lady and Trish in the office looking at the weapons in Dante's weapon collection, trying to find one that suits her she picks up Alastor, until suddenly the sword Sparda is thrown into the office as a motorcycle can be heard and as a homage tot he first film Dante crashes his motorcycle in the office like Trish did.

Games i would like to see on the PS Vita: Devil May Cry: Tales of Sparda

Ok guys I’m a 50-50 person when it comes to the PS Vita (Don’t hate me lol.) I will say however if they start bringing out there A+ games then I would have no right to say no to Sony. I respect the Devil May Cry franchise from Capcom; something is missing though the tale of twins Dante and Vergil's father Sparda.

You know the legend, the bad ass demon that took down the demon world and loved a human woman who gave birth to Twin demon-human sons.

I’m wondering however how all of that transpired. What was Sparda’s defining moment in realizing that he had to take down the demon world and save humanity? Here are some key points that would have everything fit perfectly.

Sparda as a playable character equipped with Yamato, Force Edge and his guns Luce and Umbra his hand guns.

Other weapons should include: A scythe, Dark Gauntlets called Hades (since fire gauntlets were called Ifrit and gauntlets of light are called Beowulf.) Water and lightning duel wielding swords that creates lightning and limited weather manipulation.

As for Story elements I would like to know some main story elements for example— He spent time training brothers Baul and Modeus, who learned a lot from there master. The brothers looked up to and worshipped Sparda. If not temporary playable characters in themselves this should be brought to life in a game we only have a short appearance of the brothers in the short lived devil may cry anime.

In true Devil May Cry fashion Sparda is going to need help right? So enter a pretty bad ass woman who can hold her on in battle against a horde of demons and have us as gamers wonder how she would fare against lady or even Trish.

Sparda is responsible for a lot of events leading up to the other games. Sealing Temen-ni-gru and its gate keepers in the demon world he sealed himself in.

Mundus and his legions are nothing to laugh at, those 2000 years ago that was the brunt of Sparda and his rebellion to stop demons from eradicating humanity. In that respect bosses and characters are not hard to think of hordes of demons and generals are in store for us as gamers.

Not to spoil the possible end of this game but Tales Of Sparda should end with us defeating Mundus and him sealing the demon world with himself and the full power of his sword in it, this should set everything in motion for the rest of the games in the series and even give us some indentation as to where Sparda is/was or if he can actually meet his grown up sons and possibly fight alongside or against them.
