Beware the Batman pulled from the air

Cartoon Network seems to be public enemy #1 since the cancellation of Teen Titans and we forgave them for shows like Young Justice and Green Lantern TAS, but like most other great shows they got cancelled, now Beware the Batman could join the graveyard of shows that were once on the DC Nation animated block.

Here's the scoop for you guys, a new episode was supposed to air on Saturday and now has been mysteriously pulled from the air with no explanation and without notice no repeat episodes are being shown either instead an hour block of Teen Titans Go! will be in it's place.

"Currently, Beware the Batman is no longer on our air. DC Nation will continue on Saturday mornings at 10/9c with new exclusive shorts and a full hour of encore episodes of Teen Titans Go!"

Could ratings have pulled a huge factor in the shows pulling? Or is CN doing what is usually does and pulls a show off for an unnecessary long hiatus and then brings it back in full swing like with many other shows in the past?

The voice of Batman on the series, Anthony Ruivivar, tweeted that the series would return in January, however, that hasn't been confirmed by Cartoon Network so i wouldn't take this in stride just yet, since 11 episodes out of its 26 still haven't aired maybe we can see this as a temporary hiatus instead of thinking the worst.

Beware the Batman comes to TV

It's that time again! Yep Batman has been absent from the TV spotlight since his.. let's admit major role in Young Justice and the Brave and the Bold being canned it's time for a new Batman animated show. Beware the Batman will be the newest Bat cartoon that will air on Cartoon Network.

The Caped Crusader will return to television screens this summer when Beware the Batman premieres on Cartoon Network Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) as part of DC Nation. Featuring cutting-edge CGI visuals to match the intricate twists and turns of the narrative, Batman steps out of the shadows and into the spotlight for an entirely new generation of fans.

A cool, new take on the classic Dark Knight franchise, Beware the Batman incorporates Batman’s core characters with a rogues gallery of new villains not previously seen in animated form. Along with backup from ex-secret agent Alfred and lethal swordswoman Katana, the Dark Knight faces the twisted machinations of Gotham City’s criminal underworld led by the likes of Anarky, Professor Pyg, Mister Toad and Magpie. Produced by Warner Bros.

Animation (WBA), this action-packed detective thriller deftly redefines what we have come to know as a “Batman show.” WBA’s Sam Register serves as executive producer, with Glen Murakami (Batman Beyond) and Mitch Watson (Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc.) producing.

Starring Anthony Ruivivar (Banshee) as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Beware The Batman boasts a stellar voice cast with:

JB Blanc (The Count of Monte Cristo) as Alfred
Sumalee Montano (ER) as Katana.

Villains voices will include
Wallace Langham (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) as Anarky
Grey DeLisle (Green Lantern: The Animated Series) as Magpie
Udo Kier (Scooby-Doo! Mystery Inc.) as Mr. Toad
Lance Reddick (Fringe) as Ra’s al Ghul
Brian George (The Big Bang Theory) as Professor Pyg.

Beware the Batman is the latest series based on characters from DC Comics to be added to DC Nation, Cartoon Network’s programming block on Saturday mornings. It will be followed by Teen Titans Go! at 10:30 a.m. and joined by all-new animated shorts.

Teen Titans.... return in full length episodes!!

When i first brought the Teen Titans coming back to TV i was more than ecstatic, I mentioned it would be shorts and i was still excited because i knew the shorts were going to be a test ground to make sure the audience for the Teen Titans was still strong and man is it stronger than ever now. The new show titled Teen Titans Go!! will be a heavily comical series about the funny side of being a teenage hero, featuring the return of our awesome five Robin, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Raven and Starfire with all the original voice actors returning as well!! Including the awesome and recently busy Tara Strong! The series seems to focus on a more comedic angle and no word if it's a continuation of the original series.. Teen Titans Go! is the name of the comic that continued after the series and that cliffhanger that made us all rage.

Making an entire comedic Teen Titans cartoon isnt the worst i only say that because the original cartoon had it's humor but it was also a very action based and dramatic show for it's time, if they just stick to that formula and bring it back to what it once was then we're all in for surprises and finally being able to watch this in full swing is aweosme and i cant't wait.

Time to finally see who will win between the Cartoon Network legends

Ever sit back as a kid and watch Cartoon Network and think..... man i would love to see Grim and Samurai Jack duel and see whose better? Or a monkey battle between Mojojojo and Monkey from Dexters Laboratory? Then i use my magic pencil and draw out an alternative for all your dream matches and present to you Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL. The brawler type of fighter which will remind you of Super Smash Bros. although the major difference is its on Xbox360, PS3, 3DS, and Wii.

Wondering who you can play as on the roster? A 26 attendance is expected from this game from alot of your favorite Cartoon Network characters from all over:

You know of course there is more to it than that? Dont want to spoil the roster for you too much but the game is worth all the time and respect you would give another fighting game on the market, I mean seriously this is the ONLY Super Smash type game on the PS3 and Xbox360 so i can say im hype and excited for this game, the community reactions can be endless i would hope brawl players would take a look at this game forget that lets have alot more than that take a look at the game.

A game that offers an actual story mode up to 8hrs, 4 player co-op offline and online versus capabilties makes this a game to keep in mind if your in a Super Smash mood but cant stand Meta Knight or dont even have a Wii.

Some Characters i would like to make there fighting debuts:

If not all of them then Scooby Doo would be awesome.

My favorite cartoon when i was kid, i'd absolutley love to play as Secret Squirrel and Morroco Mole.

Just when you think your childhood wasnt massacred enough.

Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Heart. With those powers combined they formed Captain Planet! A childhood icon and the first environmentally friendly cartoon that i didn't mind watching (Mainly because i didn't know and never listened.) With these 5 new powers: Money, Boredom, Unoriginality, Global Guilt, and Movie Deals have sparked a...... LIVE ACTION CAPTAIN MOVIE! That is confirmed and in the works as we speak! I'll give you a minute to gather yourself: *Sits and plots how to stop this.*

Oh Hi i see were both on the same wave length here, In a nutshell Captain Planet will be the next motion picture to be brought to light. Said producer Don Murphy “We are extremely excited about bringing the good Captain back to life. His adventures are known worldwide and he is recognized across generations. We expect to make a spectacular series of films with the amazing team at Cartoon Network.”

A series!? meaning i have to  possibly suffer through more than one? Hollywood sure has some b@lls on them for green lighting and pulling them off. Hey it cant be all bad i guess right? Not knowing whose tackling the project or even a casting i will take my time to cast the Captain Planet movies.
