Death faces his worst threat yet..

Just when you thought Death the brother of War in Darksiders II had enough to deal with the new DLC has him getting his scythe(s) dirty with his greatest foe yet!..

  1. Apocalypse
  2. Gambit
  3. Wolverine
  4. Archangel
  5. Ichisumi
  6. Polaris
  7. Gazer
  8. Hulk
If you understood all of those i have the most respect for you and your awesome! But in all fairness we know those are very powerful and worthy opponents for Death himself but no the threat that i bring to you comes in another deadly form. Darksiders II: The Demon Lord Belial has been released on PC, Xbox360 and PS3 and costs you 800msp or $9.99 on PSN and even better if you purchased a season pass this DLC is free for you guys and gives you even more of a reason to venture back into a forgotten land and take on the Demon Lord Belial! Better him than those names i mentioned before right... Hulk especially!

Darksiders 3 being talked about in a round table discussion of Apocalypse

Darksiders 2 coming out August 14th seems so close and i cant wait for the sequel and to give Death and his scythe a test kill on the poor souls that think they can stop me.. A HORSEMAN OF APOCALYPSE! But without the game coming out we've all noticed the pattern:

Darksiders - War
Darksiders 2 - Death

What about Famine and pestilence? Will Darksiders 3 and 4 feature the last 2 horseman leading into a possible 5th installment where all 4 of them are playable? Well Dalton thinks that if a sequel is made it might be "smaller in scale" meaning that it would lose what made the first two games so great a mixture of Zelda and God of War is something that you don't want to lose. But i do think that if sales met the green light to make a third installment i do think Famine and Pestilence should be a tag team in one game opening up the endless possibilities of combo attacks and combining there powers to lay waste... and severe hunger and disease to your enemies. Then Darksiders 4 is the end all game that features all four horseman in one game just causing all kinds of havoc across all existence!

The retail horseman of apcoloypse are at it again.. conflicted feelings?

So our very own retail horseman of Apocalypse are it again like the title suggests, were on a journey of pre-order incentives to tear us from one retail horseman to another. Don't know who to choose me either but I'll give you what you get with each:

Darksiders 2 info and Collectors Edition!

Horseman of Gamestop:
Players who pre-order the game from GameStop will receive the ‘Death Rides’ pack. Featuring multiple exclusive side-quests, this pack allows the most fearless adventurers to explore more of the Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains and earn additional experience and loot. Aid an ancient Construct, battle The Bloodless and retrieve Karn’s lost treasure in around two hours of unique game play content.

Horseman of Best Buy:
Pre-order the game from Best Buy to unlock the ‘Angel of Death’ pack. Give yourself an edge with a unique set of enhanced armor with an angel inspired design as well as a pair of upgraded matching scythes and a exclusive visual trail for your companion crow Dust.

Horseman of Amazon:
People who pre-order the game from Amazon will get to ride into battle with increased speed thanks to the ‘Deadly Despair’ pack. This unique pre-order offer adds an additional speed boost for Death’s trusty steed Despair, allowing players to travel across the vast world even faster than before. This perk is a permanent increase that will last throughout the game.

So Angel Spawn treatment, faster horses, new weapons my my I'll be a buy horseman once i pick one to actually pre-order from! No need to fret think of it like picking Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur weed out the weaker link and pick between two, and we all know worse case scenario the two you don't pick will be available at a later date so its not all bad for a horseman you see.

I'm MrDarkPhoenix the Horseman of... news.. and the Phoenix Force!

Death will literally be coming in on high horse June 29th when Darksiders II is released but how about i give some new info until then huh? Well how about i start with any gamer who pre-orders Darksiders II will automatically be upgraded to a limited edition... for free *Pauses for hype* Although i didn't say you wouldn't have to put your money some where else, how does a collectors edition sound?

Looks like an awesome collection of bonus stuff! A mask, art book, soundtrack, exclusive costume with bonuses and mission pack... sign me up right now! Especially for the retail price of $99 = $108.86 i might just spend my money towards the Apocalypse this summer. Instead of taking us directly where the first Darksiders left us it's going on a Heroes look into the parallel of things and takes us on a journey of Death and his brother War's relationship as Death is out to redeem him. So a sequel in many ways but a stand alone title in itself.
