Guess whose playing Arthur Sampson Douglas

Guardians of the Galaxy casting just keeps getting better and better Marvel fans the lean, mean and green... no not the Hulk by the way, Drax the Destroyer earns his title by being a champion of sorts and a strong and lethal one at that. His strength, durability and overall combatant skills makes who they cast for him a no brainier.

Dave Bautista has been cast to portray the fighter in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy beating out several other candidates such as Isaiah Mustafa, Patrick Wade and Jason Momoa. One unique power he has that can blow your minds right now is he can sense Thanos presence across the galaxy if needed.

After his resurrection this power changed to beings who have been in contact with Thanos (The breach of trust for Gamora i mentioned.) And perhaps the most mind blowing of them all is sensing those who will be in contact with Thanos in the near future... Can Drax be making a surprise visit to Iron Man 3 due out next month?!

Could Thanos appear in Iron Man 3 next month?!

For fans anticipating what Marvel is doing with the excellent phase two movies we have to look forward to Iron Man 3 starts us off with a now smarter Tony Stark realizing his small problems and quite possibly thinking about the worldwide threats with Mandarin giving him a run for his armor.

Let's not forget what we have to smirk at us in 2015 though Thanos the mad titan is coming and with his confirmed appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy (Pre Infinity Gauntlet), and another appearance in Avengers 2 can a little middle ground be in the works for the Mad Titan?

Having a three movie contract can be just what Thanos ordered but why you ask? I'll let you know here:

  • Thanos first officially appeared in Iron Man #55 (Feb 1973)
  • Towards the end of Iron Man 3 wouldn't it get us nerds out of seats if we see none other than Thanos appear at the top of Stark tower?
  • The Blood Brothers also have a stake in this the brothers were the ones who beat up Iron Man for a little while.
  • Drax telepathically warns Iron Man about the brothers.. but he's a little busy getting beat up to really appreciate the warning.
  • The two venture to a desert base where they meet Thanos and are both able to defeat the brothers and go after Thanos to reveal something shocking.
If those above things were to happen at some point at the end of Iron Man 3 i will hereby take back all the bad things I've said about him.. So get ready guys and see if Marvel can make someone an Iron fan yet.

Guardians of the Galaxy movie part of Marvel's Phase two?!

Marvel has big plans and is really doing all they can to make sure the big plans for Thanos story wise are all connected and make every bit of sense possible! So who better to tell the story of the Titan before he had his power glove... The Guardians of the Galaxy of course! The 2008 team reboot will be getting the live action movie treatment August 1st 2014 with the initial roster of Drax the Destroyer, Groot, Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, and Gamora!? What a way to start off a movie huh comic fans?! James Gunn (Awesome genius behind Lollipop Chainsaw mind you.) Is going to be directing this movie along with Joss Whedon so it can connect to the Marvel Movie family. I trust James Gunn to give us a great epic seeing as how he's a Marvel Comics geek who loves space and sci-fi and raccoons! I know I'm not the only person really hype to see a CGI Rocket Raccoon am i?

So far the story is going to be revolved around The Guardians of the Galaxy and there first encounter with Thanos before he comes here so one can say it's a prequel to a mad titan with lots of action and deep story telling on a planet that is not earth, sure as hell can't wait to see this and more info that comes along with it!

Captain America served as a prequel to the Avengers and the invasion... Guardians of the Galaxy serves as a prequel to Thanos!!
