What we're gonna do right here is go back Way back Back into time

Well Gears gamers we are offered our next piece of DLC and damn it i must say i'm glad to see Epic Games going the Call of Duty route and giving us a map pack and that's it Gears focuses on the award winning and noteworthy story as well as the multiplayer which is excellent for the people that don't go on live that will now purchase the story based DLC. We take the Lancer's of Zeta squad which consists Cog members: Lt. Minh Young Kim (Try saying that three times fast.) Tai (Before his.... personal shaving issues with a shotgun.) New female Alicia Velera and Barrick.

Our pre journey with Zeta Squad involves killing Locusts obviously but more than that the story DLC is at least 3hrs long! Way to go Epic Games for taking your time and putting every bit of effort into this cant wait for more awesomeness from you guys. Our journey doesn't begin with just that they've made sure this is going to make canon sense to Gears of War 1 so the Lambents don't show up under any circumstance (Way to cater to story die hards also Epic.) 


Just one last surprise for you guys if your planning on recruiting your friends to the COG they will sport new weapons: The Retro Sawed Off Shotgun, and maulers a shield that reflects bullets. Gotta say i'm glad for Epic stepping up to the plate and giving us this much content for our DLC for Gears, i cant wait for more missions and places and instances all over the world of Gears in DLC. 

Gears of War.. Can Control it! Fenix rises DLC coming

Well my Cog brothers and sisters its 2012 and we get our announcement of the next piece of Gears of War 3 DLC and its filled with new multiplayer maps, character and weapon skins and just all around awesomeness and i cant be happier, While its the story places we'll all recognize instantly for us who played the story mode will feel right at home. A new prestige-esque leveling system that let's players reach the top level of 100 multiple times in order to get really cool medals and rewards.

Although the story maps leave something to be desired since i already know is alright but everything else is cool i don't know what else they've got under the sleeves of Epic Games but i know this... LONG LIVE THE COG!

Gears fest is here to stay for the season... do you need a pass?

Like any other shooter on the market i know you didn't think it was going to over on the DLC "Cole"train, Epic games has since announced new DLC for there hit Gears Of War 3. The form of DLC is coming to us in both offline and online packages, meaning the story will possibly be expanded for the new pack (Of course probably explaining more along what other characters were doing.) What does this have to do with you reader? just think your going to buy all the DLC when it comes out and your good? well rev up your lancer and re think that soilder you're better than this.

With the first map coming to consoles in November and the others stated as being split up over the course of next year like the Matrix sequels. Gamers who wish to get the season pass are looking at a 2400 price tag, gotta say thats not bad depending on the content were getting for a multiplayer map alone should be something like 800 points making the four so far announced packs without the season pass 3600 not a bad deal i say. Although we dont know what they mean by "pack" a pack can come with more than one multiplayer map and extra story content making it an even bigger bayonet for your retro lancer. Maybe they can add a nice zombie map or something to the horde or beast modes.

Cant wait (Forced) to see what they have in store for us in these next coming months in the terms of DLC come November we'll see something though i leave you all with my name suggestions for DLC packs for Gears Of War:

Ok so I think we need to get the obvious out of the way for anyone that doesn’t know but who are you awesome people?

Hey, what’s up Gears gamers! My name is Kelly Kelley, or more formally known as Mrs Violence. I’ve been around video games since I was about 3 years old and have loved every minute of it. I’ve had a name in the Competitive scene since Rainbow Six 3 was on Gamebattles, and have been making my way through each game and community. But my true love is Gears of War. I was also on Season 1 of WCG Ultimate Gamer, the first Video Game Reality TV Show (My life as a gamer wasn’t nearly the same) .

What went through your mind when you learned that a gears 3 beta was playable?

Ecstatic. Finally, the Gears fans can help EPIC out with making the game playable. I wasn’t fully satisfied with GoW2 as I was with GoW1, so it’s great to see them asking for some community help to further induce the success of the game.

Ok so for the controversial question guys, what did you think of the famed sawed off shotgun? And what can they do to change the game around that?

I personally think it’s a waste of time. . .literally. I don’t see it being competitive, or “Fun” in multiplayer, but it’s an interesting take on a shotgun, that’s for sure. One thing I did notice, is that in their first GoW3 trailer, Marcus shoots it twice within 2 seconds of each shot. . .completely false and not too thrilled about that.

Have you upgraded to the epic edition or your keeping your regular versions?

EPIC AND RETRO Bundles are now reserved and under my name, paid in FULL. .. .two words, LETS GO!!!

For anyone thinking about taking gears to the next professional level, do you have any advice for them to go on the right path?

Find some honest teammates that have at least past experience in both games, gears 1 and 2. Gears of War 3, is a perfect mixture of the two and it’s great to have the shotgun skill from 1 and the movement of 2 under your belt. Also, when “Scrimming”, play set teams. Pick ups are fun but not so much as practice.

Now Kelly, everyone knows you love Gears of War, because you have the tattoo on your ankle would you consider adding more to it?

 *nom* *Nom* I’m getting more added onto it. Be on the lookout Gears of War Fans!

If you could have your favorite weapon look anyway you want what would you choose as your skin for your gun?

Easy, pink! No I’m just kidding, but I think a Lancer or Gnasher made out of Jello would be pretty cool to look at!

What are you expecting as the ending to the gears trilogy?

I already know a few things about it; I’m a huge fan of the books and have read them all about 3 times. So, I think something just EPIC will happen.

Kelly I know you have your girl gaming group HAM with you, jade, Adriana and lady insanity would you want to have them move on the gears train with you?

Absolutely! I think that would be amazing, unfortunately, none of them have experience in Gears 1 or 2, so I think it would be best if they stayed with FPS’s and leave the TPS’s to the big boys :P I’m kidding 10000% but seriously, I don’t think I would have the time to dedicate myself to teaching 3 people the basics of Gears of War. I find this game to be the most challenging when it comes to Competitive Gaming, so a lot of time, and practice is extremely needed and once again, people have been playing this game since the day it arrived, so I think they would be at a huge disadvantage. I wish them luck with whatever games they pursue when I disappear September 20th.

Gears of war 3.... SYSTEM!

Words cannot describe the emotional and nerd roller coaster i am on right now, (not even sure if i'm getting off.) A "Possible" system for the up coming Gears Of War 3 might be another reason for us to give epic more of our money.
