The Wii U just keeps getting better and better with announcements doesn't it? Good thing you've got me to deliver and sort through all the E3 updates and news, especially regarding the newly announced Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U. First i want to say Princess Peach is finally available as a playable character!
After saying it would be too hard to add her in anything they changed their tune pretty quick eh? We go through whatever adventure this is as Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad and just like in the classic Super Mario Bros. 2 our four playable characters will each have their own strengths and powers:
- Mario is Mario... his name is on the game
- Luigi can jump higher and further than the cast
- Toad is the fastest on his feet
- Peach can use her dress to float in mid-air for a short time
A new edition to the series is the Catsuit which is acquired from a gold bell you start to purr and meow and steal jewels in hopes of finding and flirting with Batman... I'm sorry you become Catman and start to hunt for Gerald to get his perfect hair forever. You chase after Spider-Man and try to get him to the wild side of being a superhero.
Your powers include the ability to pounce on enemies all fours and scale walls using your sharp claws, don't think this is only for Mario though gamers all the playable characters get the Catsuit treatment so you can have all cats on your team with the 4-player co-op. Super Mario World 3D will be coming to your Wii U during the holiday season in December
