So much speculation, fan support, fan wars and everything on the Internet and beyond have all asked the same question since Kingdom Hearts 2 was released and following the releases of:

WHERE THE HELL IS KINGDOM HEARTS 3?! A question being asked by all the fans of the series, well this E3 has brought the game hype back to us all and I'm so excited to let you guys know now that Kingdom Hearts 3 is in development by the same studio the Osaka studio who created Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is working on the project while the initial team behind Kingdom hearts is working on Final Fantasy XV.
Fans shouldn't worry though I enjoyed Dream Drop Distance and just because they're working on something else doesn't mean they wont get help or pointers in the near future.
The plot of Kingdom Hearts III revolves around Master Xehenort trying to keep balance between light and darkness by sparking a war against the “tyranny of light.” Throughout the game, Sora, Donald and Goofy look for the remaining seven guardians of light and the “Key to Return Hearts.” Meanwhile, King Mickey and Riku will search for previous Keyblade wielders.
With the combat system a little different each game it only makes sense to combine all the best of the new and have it perfected in KH3.
