Games do great story telling and i love it so much but sometimes a comic can do more and illustrate back stories that the game couldn't answer and or wanted to save for another use of outlet. Borderlands 2 will be getting a comic to tie into the stories of the games! Aren't you hype? I know we all felt that Borderlands was one of those games that was more action savvy and less on the store but it looks like Pandora is getting more exploring than we thought. The comics will set out to dig deeper into the origins of Borderlands, no spoilers but the first issue gives us a fan favorite and explains why he joins with the rest of the cast of his respected game. Issue #1 can be picked up in comic book stores now and with the games writer Mike Neumann and art by Agustin Padilla, IDW is going to publish gold for whichever time frame they picked out. Each Borderlands character will get an issue explaining there own separate origins which is extremely interesting and i would love to see how each character was brought into the picture as a whole team/ unit.. who knows the comic can bring them all together for one super issue!
