Avengers Villain Throws Down….. Infinity (Spoilers!)

So anyone else that I know saw Thor and knows comics is aware Loki is a D-Bag and evil to boot, but what people don’t know is that he is not the only villain making his appearance when the marvel heroes ban together in the Avengers making its way to theatres May 4th,2012. Loki will be getting some help on destroying earth from the Skrulls… Dun dun dun.  But wait think it’s bad now? We’ll just keep reading and be warned true believers.

Anyone that saw Thor knows that Odin has an extensive collection of marvel artifacts including now in the hands of Loki the Cosmic Cube which is Marvel’s basic your screwed if I own it cop out for villains all over Marvel. For those that don’t know the Cosmic Cube allows whoever has it to warp reality, open dimensional portals or whatever they want literally. Villain checklist almost done but remember this from Thor?

Oh god yes Thanos is more than confirmed to be in the Avengers movie , while no word on who portrays or likely will voice him though. Hopefully it won’t be OD cg like the 2003 Hulk movie. So now if Loki was bad enough our avengers have to deal with Loki wielding the Cosmic Cube and now Thanos wielding his famed power glove with gems enough to destroy our world. But as the avengers have proven time and time again you don’t mess with Earths Mightiest heroes.

How’s this for a stay beyond the credits scene:

After defeating Thanos the avengers want to know what they should do with the gems, separating them is the best they can do so thanos can never be brought to power again. Thor recommends they leave it back into Asgard where it will be safe, iron man mentions it was there once and every being in the world will not stop to invade and take it, tony suggests it be left in his care because he has the resources and tech to keep it safe plus shield on speed dial.
Everyone reluctantly agrees and goes on with their lives tony stark goes around the world giving the gems to those he finds worth Patrick Stewart aka professor Xavier, black bolt, Namor, mister fantastic and doctor strange. Thus teasing us with marvels famed illuminati group. And the final words from tony stark while he’s in a laboratory giving his top scientist a box with a strand of hair in it.

“Begin the cloning experiment.”

See what I did there? I basically confirmed a possible Dr. Strange movie, Black Panther, Namor’s appearance and reboots of Fantastic Four and X-men.

My Cast Monday Ep 2: Biohazard 2

Leon S. Kennedy:
Jensen Ackles:

Looks: Jensen looks like a bad ass rookie cop turned government agent in the near future. With the right look and the right director and Jensen's skill as an actor i don't see any problem with him making this role count.

Mentality: Leon in Resident Evil 2 is a rookie cop who gets wrapped up in the Raccoon City incident. All Jensen would have to do is be a rookie semi-skilled rookie cop with a passion for staying alive and quick on his feet to reach his goals.

Claire Redfield:

Ali Larter:

Ada Wong:

Maggie Q:
Looks: I don't think i have to say much on her looks u have eyes right? looking just like Ada put her in a red butterfly dress and well fan boys and even movie goers will understand why Maggie Q is an Ada Wong live action upgrade to the max.

Mentality: Already playing a secret agent on her hit show Nikita, so what would have to be new for Maggie to portray Ada perfectly? The ability to do what Ada does best be sexy, mysterious and even make new resident evil fans believe her intentions.

Dr. William Birkin:

Jeffrey Dean Morgan:

Annette Birkin:

Theresa Russel:

Sherry Birkin:

Time to take the S to the future and beyond.

That’s right comic readers after beating around the idea of a Superman Beyond since being teased in the Batman beyond Animated Series, Countdown: Arena and the Superman/Batman Annual #4. The impossible has happened Superman is aging and his powers are dwindling every day. Anyone else thinking there’s always yellow sun to go to even in the future? Or better yet a way for you to put the yellow sun in a booth or something? I mean this is beyond and the future Superman you mean to have me believe that I’m going to read a comic that says your getting weaker as you age, when all you need to do is feel the rays of the sun?

I know I have a lot of questions but I won’t have to wait long since Superman Beyond #0 is set to release in August with writing by Tom Defalco and art by Ron Frenz and Sal Buscema.

Superman beyond comes out of a “retirement” when his greatest threats put the future in turmoil! Dear god Lex Luthor Beyond, Metallo Beyond, or worse a Darksied Beyond with a Doomsday beyond pet. I don’t know what the future for villains has in store but I hope they don’t do what I did and add beyond to their names.

With Terry teaming up with the Man Of Steel is intriguing to me (even though I have my own personal nerd issues with Terry.) with Superman Beyond coming into the light what does the league have in store for other beyond versions? Flash beyond, wonder woman beyond, green lantern beyond all have nice rings to it but we’ll start with how superman beyond treats us this summer.

A new age is coming…. DRAGON AGE 3!

Not only am I loving my experience in Dragon Age 2 I am also excited to reveal that that Bioware developer Alistair McNally has spilled the blood from an enemy by tweeting about the next coming sequel in the Dragon Age series.
If my excitement didn’t fool you (I’m having a fangasm on the inside trust me.) Bioware is looking for people to help bring Dragon Age 3 to new life. “I’m looking for exceptional environment artists to join me at #BioWare Edmonton, Canada to work on #DragonAge3 #gamejobs #jobs #3D #artists’.
To enchant this weapon further Christina Norman from the Mass Effect team gave this quote a Retweet boost to further confirm this information. Why would a blue bird lie? I mean sure Facebook might lie but not a little blue jay that lets us talk shortly.

Gamers today I give you the mix tape styling’s of WCG Ultimate Gamer season 2 contestant Sebastian Burton aka Chosen1, or as many he’s defeated on Xbox live know him as BOOM. Pro DOA playing Chosen1 has made the two things he loves most music and gaming collide into his mix tape he has titled Power On. I have taken a listen to the mix tape and I must say I’m more than impressed at the sounds he brings to the table with his songs.

I’m an avid music listener and I take my music very seriously and with Power On it’s a listen, one of my favorite tracks on the mix tape is Murder Musical feat. Jade the Pretty Boy. Not to give too much away about it I’m saying you should without a doubt give this a  listen and pass it around because soon Power On will be worldwide,

I literally made this mix tape for the gamers. But as I continued I just realized the metaphors related to everyone, Gamers, Hustlers, Rappers, 9-5 er's old and young alike. So I rep gamers but I feel gamers rep people. Everyone in their life has to turn the POWER ON!!” A quote from the golden boy himself we all represent each other and how the mix tape brings it a step further. Everyone don’t forget to live your life with the POWER ON!!

A new Hitman has been spoken of…. Finally

Agent 47 better dust off his killing skills because he’s been brought back for another sequel to his hit franchise. The new Hitman simply titled Hitman Absolution, brings back the on the run killing machine who was betrayed by his agency (typical) for a new adventure, weapons, and killing executions.

Not to mention while bringing up all the new stuff he will be getting a new game play engine Glacier 2 IO confirmed. The Square Enix owned IO Interactive also confirmed that the game will be “Familiar and a significantly different experience than the other games,” Confirms the games director Tore Blystad, so what does this mean for us as gamers.

Time for some good ol fashioned speculation! *grabs magnifying glass.* from what I can guess so far the game might have a Splinter Cell Conviction vibe going on, only knowing Agent 47 and the Hitman series trust me it will be a lot more gritty and violent .

I mean Agent 47 killed a guy dressed up like a clown, don’t think that’s Sam Fisher’s style of getting the kill. All in all I can’t wait to hear more information about this title, but don’t be sad with E3 less than a month away our fix will be granted with  more juicy and bloody info is coming and maybe even a trailer to tease us even more.

All we have to do now is wait and see what the future holds for us 14 days and counting…

My Cast Monday ep. 1: Biohazard

So I’m starting a new weekly Monday article going so what better way to do that than to give my two cents on my favorite games and the right people to portray them:

Albert Wesker:

Shawn Roberts:
I thought one of the top reasons Afterlife had any kind of good was the way Shawn Roberts portrayed Albert Wesker. With all of his appearances and behind the scenes things he’s done in the games we would be seeing a lot of him in the game specific movie remakes and I wouldn’t mind that.

Chris Redfield:

 Wentworth Miller:

Nothing was wrong with his portrayal of Chris Redfield in Resident Evil Afterlife (even though the movie wasn’t really that good.) Wentworth gives off the aura and presence of Chris and if asked to do the role again and in the right hands I have no doubt he would make the performance a very good one.

Chris Evans:
I know their names are Chris and they match ironic isn’t it? But aside from that Chris Evans aka Steve Rogers, can pull off this role as the ST.A.R.S. Agent given his range Chris can play Chris… Get it!? Chris Evans can portray what Chris Redfield was developed to be, the typical "tough guy" in action movies: spiked hair, bare muscular build and likes combat knives. Plus I can imagine Shawn Roberts and Chris Evans hating each other, since he’s already hated Wentworth in Afterlife.

Jill Valentine:

Julia Voth:
Jill's character model from the 2002 GameCube Remake , is based on actress Julia Voth. Come on look at her also.

Sienna Guillory:
Who has no problems reprising her role as Jill Valentine and has done a great job portraying her and would love to see come back. But in the next coming articles I have another plan for Sienna.

Barry Burton:

Liam Neeson:
He’s more than enough actor to portray our magnum assistant Barry Burton, more importantly I want him to say “You were almost a Jill sandwich back there” to Julia or Sienna for the funny factor.

Rebecca Chambers:
The baby of stars if you will (not in a bad way.) she’s adorable knows how to handle a gun and assists Chris when he needs it.

Rachel Leigh Cook:

Ayumi Hamasaki:

Assassins Creed Revelations has us play as both Altair and Ezio (spoilers ahead)

Salve gamers MrDarkPhoenix here with some acrobatic, Da Vinci flying machine using classic assassin action. I have played Assassins Creed Brotherhood and loved every minute of it, the classic graphics the game play and just about everything else. But questions always plagued my mind while playing this series. When are we going to have Ezio and Altair meet? And who would win in a fight between the two of them?

The story so far has us playing as Ezio and chasing down ancient artifact seals of Masyaf (remember from the first game.) little do we know though each of those five seals belongs to none other than Altair himself, so acquiring this seal makes you relieve a memory of Altair’s like how Desmond relieves Ezio’s memories through the animus.

Ok I know I just said a lot of confusing stuff but how about I add more to it by giving you something to really think about? The ending of Brotherhood put Desmnond into a coma (among other things) but suffering through that long ass inescapable credit sequence made me realize there were voices that re hooked up Desmnond to the animus, the result of which put Desmnond in “The Black Room” an animus only world made up of shattered memories where he has to fight to find a specific memory where Ezio, Altair, and Desmnond himself collide.

Let me see if I have this right? You’re stuck in a dream like state where you need to find a memory that places three different minds together including finding where you fall into place? This game just screams Inception at this point.

Taking the spotlight back to Ezio whose going to prove “Age ain't nothing but a number” he is well over 50 years old. Don’t let that fool you but let it fool your opponents because older people can still kick ass look at Solid Snake and Master Roshi.

New weapons, the ability to make bombs, a new heightened ability called eagle sense: which lets you hear conversations, heartbeats and even predict where your chasers would go before they know. Again another game we have to wait for E3 for more information or if reading this is getting you pumped don’t forget to get the June issue of Game Informer for more information about this game.

Well nerds and…. Well readers who like the nerd subject, I’ve come bearing news about something even more interesting than a robotic smack down for the ages. Grant Morrison will work his magic and bring us quite another hit graphic novel, besides of course Arkham Asylum and All Star Superman, he brings us a childhood gemstone simply called Dominion: Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens (Pretty self explanatory). Soon after the comic though its going have a feature film directed by Barry Sonnenfeld who should be finished filming Men In Black 3. Not only that Barry Sonnenfeld has teamed up with grant Morrison and Liquid Comics (formerly known as Virgin Comics..Giggity.)

While Grant will spend his time writing the graphic novel Sonnenfeld will be directing the film. Grant will be writing for both the graphic novel and the movie, so with that being said there should be no problems and it will come out as a great graphic novel and an even better movie.

The graphic novel will be released later on this year at your local bookstore/ comic book store or online for your enjoyment. Either way you look at it prepare for the story of a prehistoric war between our ancient dinosaurs and world invading aliens. Just hope it’s not the ending I’m thinking of where the aliens cheat and cause a cataclysmic event that causes the dinosaurs to go extinct…. Surely as hyper intelligent life forms they have to know that right? Hopefully now this can put an end to the long lost childhood fantasy and the beginning of even more Vs. topic comics and or movies. I also would like to mention I do excel in Vs. topics.

Here I’ll start off with a few:

Ninjas Vs. Zombies (actually a movie by Endlight entertainment)

Ninjas Vs. vampires (another movie made by Endlight Entertainment)

Warlocks Vs. Vampires

Vampires Vs. Pirates

Holy movie shootings batman!

Zonk! Boink! The Dark Knight Rises the final part of the real life Batman series directed by Christopher Nolan is shooting and up and running people. All we know so far is they cast Tom Hardy as Bane? Not my best villain choice for this real life movie but we will see how that plays out. With the beautiful Anne Hathaway playing the sexy yet psychotic thief Selina Kyle aka Catwoman is something I cannot wait to see.

My last pick for a villain that I really hope makes it into the movie, Roman Sionis aka Black Mask.  The brutal and sadistic crime lord of Gotham, not to load his handgun and pull the trigger but he has stood up to Batman and Catwoman in a fight (yes Catwoman is a very talented martial artist.)

If Chris Nolan is looking for a real life villain with a lot to offer then Black Mask is a serious way to go. Who can complete the role of a mobster with a thirst for a blood and an expert on torture? Keep in mind that he is a skilled and ruthless martial artist. Mark Strong who portrayed Frank D’amico in Kick Ass is a great choice for this role, already having the mobster mind set he should have no problems giving this role the justice it deserves.

Not to mention Ra's al Ghul will make another appearance, not in the way were thinking though, he won’t be portrayed by Liam Neeson will not be playing the iconic immortal villain. Josh Pence will be taking on the role of Ra's al Ghul taking place in flash backs 30 years before batman begins.

Still can’t wait for more information to be released about this movie, the franchise has gone in excellent directions with more that we’ll have to wait and see until July 20th 2012. Don’t forget comic fans remember my famous quote. “With great screening great high quality Anne Catwoman screenshots follow” meow and drool readers.I would also like to bring to everyone's attention that the Joker will not be returning in this movie, nor would Chris Nolan have used recycled footage of Heath Ledger either.

Terminator and Robocop….. Together!?

I know what I wrote guys and trust me I’m just as shocked as you are but hear me out. Are you guys like me? Have you dreamed of matchups that you never thought could happen? Chuck Norris vs. Batman, Kratos vs. Squirrel Girl, or hell Charlie Sheen vs. The Living Tribunal?

If those aren’t your cup of tea, then how about the actual Terminator and Robocop team up series (again) brought to us by dynamite comics. Coming to us in July by the very talented Rob Williams and P.J. Holden. Who have both written their fair share of hits ranging from Skaar: king of the savage land to Judge Dredd.

With Robocop being a robot hope your prepared for some story elements not the usual versus topic where Robocop and the t-1000 go at it then one of them gets the edge and bam the fights over, fans rage and debate for as long as you count and the debate never ends. Sorry guys this story goes much differently. The full title being Terminator/Robocop: kill Human (catchy and scary).

Alex Murphy finds himself right smack dab in the middle of the Skynet future Linda Hamilton, the Govenator, Thomas Dekker and hell even Christian Bale tried to avoid with no luck. Think his robot side will be take over him? Or will his light human side prevail and save the day.

Well not to be a jinx but a lot of humans tried to stop these robots, most of them came close but as Arnold taught us in Judgment Day and Summer Glau in Sarah Connor Chronicles the only thing that finishes the job are other terminators. Kind of like how only neo can defeat agents and what not.

Think about this as the ultimate heavy robotic fight for good and evil guys. Who ultimately wins in the end? The robot that is willing to uphold law and order or the robots that don’t stop until you’re not breathing? Uh oh… this is kind of like robot death note! Hope Alex Murphy doesn’t chow too much on sweets.

Like I mentioned due out in July is when our story will begin but how it will end is all up to the writers, but I sure as heck will be glad for the experience don’t forget to pick up yours when the series starts guys? To end this who are your top robot themed matchups:

Voltron vs. Optimus prime

Dragon Zord vs. Mecha-Godzilla

Classic Power Ranger Megazord vs. Megatron

Amazo vs. Centurion ranger

Bender vs. C3PO
