The Marvel Experience Tour in 2014


Marvel has teamed up with Hero Ventures a theme park based company in L.A. to bring the Marvel Experience to us in Spring of 2014, a 4D ride will be featured and the main attraction of the $30 million tour, although its clear a lot of you are wondering what exactly the Marvel tour is? Well it's part con, part theme park all animated features, digitally-projected animation, motion-comic origin stories, holographic simulations and, of course, merchandise. This experience also includes integrated social media and the 4D motion ride mentioned before. All of this is set to take place under a 50,000-sq. ft. dome.


The tour will make stops in 24 cities for days at a time, while specific locations, and ticket information,hasnt been announced yet stay tuned to this blog and you will soon know. There is already a part 2 of the experience being planned, with a second tour featuring another theme.
Live Nation chairman Michael Cohl, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark co-producer/PRG founder Jeremiah Harris, and Hero Ventures partner Jason Rosen will act as lead producers.
“Hero Ventures is developing a themed entertainment concept that we expect will be a transformative, traveling destination that will deliver to fans and families an exciting, groundbreaking and unique experience,” said Marvel’s VP of business development Sean Haran in a statement.
“The dynamic creative elements we’re developing are going to enable anyone to feel like a superhero like Spider-Man or Captain America,"Hero Ventures CEO Rick Licht added. "We couldn’t be more excited about our partnership with Marvel. Kids and adults are going to be absolutely inspired, empowered and thrilled from start to finish, with an immersive experience that is not just memorable, but unforgettable!"
