For the fans going insane and wondering how Marvel could do what they did to us with Iron Man 3 I'm hoping this article will be a breath of extremis air. Joss Whedon when asked about the "challenge" of including Iron Man in the next Avengers movie had this to say:
“Well, I feel like in Iron Man 3, even though he said, ‘ I've changed' -- he blew up his remote suits, but I don’t think anybody thinks he doesn't have one anymore. The question is, if The Avengers are called, does he show up? And the answer is, ‘Yes!’”You heard it here.. well read it Iron Man is answering the call for the Avengers 2 and we can rest assured from Whedon himself that we can breathe easier!
