Zack Snyder director of the Man of Steel has dropped a cellophane S on us revealing a key part of the Superman mythology will not be apart of the newest reboot.
“I’ll be honest with you, there’s no Kryptonite in the movie,” Snyder said. Man of Steel hopes to humanize Superman, but by giving him new flaws and vulnerabilities. Superman actor Henry Cavill said, “Although he is not susceptible to the frailties of mankind, he is definitely susceptible to the emotional frailties.”
So this should make for something interesting, seems like they could use our favored green rock at a later time or if "Humanizing" him is another word for possibly de-powering our Man of Steel.
