With the recent announcement of Captain America 2: The Winter Solider those of us in the know about comic books knew that Cap is going to need some possible assistance taking on his old friendsicle Bucky aka the Winter Solider and why not seek help from his friend Samuel Wilson aka the Falcon. Marvel has begun negotiations to add Anthony Mackie (8 Mile, Hurt Locker) to portray Falcon in the Captain America sequel... whoa! that's great casting and an awesome character to add.
Some information about Falcon aka Samuel Wilson is he was led down a criminal path due to anger and grief involving his fathers death and was called "Snap" Wilson before hand. His plane crash landed on an island where the Red Skull was hiding and with the help of the Cosmic Cube he gave Wilson the power to talk to birds and reverted him to his Snap persona to go find Cap who was also on the island. Later after that Falcon and cap became a team for a long time, that's a small piece of the origins the movie could show if they decide to give Falcon some time to be established what i mentioned above wont be long plus it wouldn't hurt to give his origins a shot.
Falcon being included in the movie adds a lot more to Cap and to the Avengers, Falcon being an Avenger for a time and his skills in martial arts, link to his bird Avenger, and his suit that allows him to fly (A possible hint or cameo to the man that made it Black Panther maybe?) Captain America 2: The Winter Solider which comes out April 4th 2014 is already looking promising and i cant wait to see Winter Solider on screen kicking ass and taking names! (Hope nobody slips from the water dripping)
