With all the hype with Resident Evil you all know i couldn't leave you guys hanging and i have some more news for you.... maybe I'll get a PS3 finally... we'll see how this blog goes first. Capcom confirmed an anthology and archive collection for those willing to spend an extra $30 for Resident Evil 6 as well as the classics in the series. Before you start getting all over hyped i must say the line-up for the PS3 and the Xbox360 are very different:
PS3 owners will be getting:
- Resident Evil: Directors Cut
- Resident Evil 2
- Resident Evil 3
- Resident Evil 4 HD
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
- Resident Evil 6
Xbox360 owners will be getting:
- Resident Evil 4 HD
- Resident Evil Code Veronica X HD
- Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition
- Resident Evil 6
- Resident Evil Degeneration ( The awesome CGI Movie)
While the games don't only differ in name the games are very different while for ps3 you get the original franchise (Minus 0 and CVX) and with Xbox360 you get the more recent titles with the HD remakes and the movie. As you all know I'm a huge Resident Evil fanatic i would own and purchase a PS3 for this collection... but if 2 and 3 aren't HD remakes then I'm going to stick with my regular edition and leave this one be since i have the GameCube versions that I'm extremely happy with. No word if 2 and 3 are remade or still the same but time will tell and i will be the first to tell you guys until then the Resident Evil 6 and collections will be out on the same day so stay tuned and keep being hype!
