Ghost Rider 2: Spirit Of Vengeance set to burn its tracks at the SDCC this year

 Ok before you start I know that Ghost Rider (which is swept under the rug at best.) wasn’t that good of a movie, but why judge a movie before its trailer right? At the official Comic Con in San Diego this year the films directors are more than eager to show us the new and improved Ghost Rider. With Nick Cage reprising his role as Johnny Blaze the avenging spirit, the film still promises a much darker role than the first movie. Darker tone hopefully meaning Mephisto and his son Blackheart will look demonic full form, possible violence, and of course epic and bloody magic and fight scenes.

With Comic Con coming July 21-23 in San Diego, and Ghost Rider 2 set to release February 17,2012. The Comic Con movie line up could be just what gets us comic book geeks up and hype for better and greater comic book movie legacies.

To step into Ghost Rider Blackheart and Mephisto aren’t his only two villains, the most popular sure but not the only people who want him…. Well to stay dead and will never come back as a spirit of anything.  Here are my top 5 villain candidates for the new ghost rider movie (or sequels)

Lucifer: Yea the big bad leader of hell himself who sought to remove the human side from ghost rider to make him a mindless, satanic killing machine. One thing about the movie is Ghost Rider is recruited by a sect to take on the devil so he might have more of a chance then we think.

Zadikel: An archangel who tried to pull a spawn and usurp heaven due to his own hatred for god and his compassion for humanity.

Centurious: also known as the man without a soul, due to selling his soul to Mephisto he now has powerful magic abilities, immortality and your natural perks of being a ghost rider villain.

The Deacon: A polar opposite among the Ghost Rider villains, most of them are either demonic and evil, The Deacon however is a zealot who is convinced he is doing god’s work and will destroy Ghost Rider to no end. He is blessed with heavenly weapons to combat Ghost Rider and his only weakness is that he will not destroy anything holy such as the bible.

Lilith: A very powerful sorceress from Atlantis also known as the mother of all demons, she is an ancient goddess and an accomplished sorceress. Learning that her children were destroyed by ghost rider himself she now seeks revenge against him.
