New York Comic Con confirmed a new Elektra series as part of the Marvel NOW! Series written by Zeb Wells and art by Mike Del Mundo, with it's original release date of March 2014 it will be pushed back a month to April 2014 instead with good reason mind you. Unfortunately Wells was forced to back out:
"Anyone who knows me knows this book has been a dream of mine since I started writing comics ten years ago. Unfortunately, after Steve [Wacker] moved heaven and earth to make the book happen, commitments in television won't allow me the time to craft it with the care it deserves."
Fear not though comic fans a replacement has been found, Haden Blackman who was the co-writer to Batwoman and also the lead writer for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has taken up the challenge and his great writing for action and story telling and Mike's strong art presence this comic is looking to be something to pick up April 2014.
